The tables designed for Vassar College add a new interpretation to the “dialectical relationship” between table top and base developed by Eero Saarinen in his former designs . The fine curved lines of the base are enhanced by the transparency of the glass table top. Since 2006, Matrix International produces exclusively the tables , both in coffee lower version than high dining one.
